Brian: I am confused about what you are trying to say:

"I asked a Ballard rep during a conducted tour how the competition was from ERC , the reply , ERC's fuel cell P/S were as big as the Ballard plant . In other words Ballard's will be a high volume product vs ERCs low volume high cost product"

What is "P/S" in this context? What is it about Ballard's product (I presume here we are talking about utility power, since ERC's molten carbonate fuel cells have no vehicle applications) that will make it lower cost than ERC's, or higher volume? I know that Ballard is proposing (it hasn't built any yet) to make a 250 kW unit. I am sure that it will be physically smaller than ERC's design, but that is because ERC's produces ten times the power. On a cost per kW basis, ERC's should be substantially cheaper than Ballard's.

Also, did Ballard explain the comment in its recent news release about its bus effort being delayed several years?
