MMX MASTERMINDS -- Cyrix Corporation's Robert Maher, vice president of engineering and the 6x86MX microprocessor design team proudly display the company's newest processor designed to drive the cost of mainstream PCs below $1500. According to the company, the MMX(TM)-enabled 6x86MX(TM) processor is able to deliver Pentium(R) II-class performance at half the price. For the first time computer users will be able to purchase a high-performance MMX- enabled PC for under $1500.
