Roger,

Well said. Frequently an identity crisis (caused by playing volatile markets) causes traders to be jacks of all trades. When you start flipping stocks for quarters (not the way to go) that market starts teasing with 10 points daily moves. Then the trader decides to hold, then Bamm!, a couple of nasty losses later (avoidable)makes him long for his nickel and dime days.

Most of us overcomplicate things. I suppose we want to feel this is such a high skill occupation. I mean, how hard is it to find 10 really strongly trending stocks? A trader really has one job.. To find the STRONGEST trend (up or down) and enter it as close to it's birth as possible (permitting reasonable protection) and hanging on till the trend falters.. If we need to build ourselves up, it should be done in the area on discipline and emotional control.

Hope you post more often.. and by the way, never had an ADIC position.. we bring good looking charts to the thread as we find them.

Rashid
