What you call "easy reading" is rather a reasonable inference, if you assume that the person meant to vote in that line. However, deliberate failure to vote is not that uncommon, and therefore one cannot make the necessary assumption, ie, that a vote was intended. Since conjecture cannot supplant indisputable fact when it comes to voting, the accusation of divination stands. Apart from that, I will not comment on the observations and objections of persons close to the action, except to say that I believe them more than you.......
