Mike, just as a memory refresher for the rest of the board, Intel was forced by IBM to license the 86 chip in order to get the first PC deal.

I would think that buyers from Intel would do everything possible to have a viable second source for any chip from them. Obviously, they have not been too successful at this.

It is interesting, of course, to me, to follow this Intel discussion after initiating the same Gorilla/King argument in '99.

The main thing that strikes me is that the depth of the discussion is much better than what I had to offer last year.

I am sure that a lot of casual readers of this board think we are embroiled in an argument over how many Angels can dance on the head of a pin!
