The coin flip IS relevant.

The fact is YOU are isolating a single event and saying: "It is because of the butterfly ballot that we are in this mess"

That trivializes the millions of votes cast in 49 other states, and in 63 out of 64 counties in Florida.

My point with the early call was to compare that the butterfly ballot issue is likely to have made as trivial a difference in the end.

If you close you eyes, and isololate ONE issue in a race this close, then you can justify either man winning.

It feels good but it is dishonest.
