The notion that 1 or 2 people started to record a vote, and then changed their mind at the last second, is interesting and quite possible. The notion that ten thousand people did this is a GOP invention to justify never looking at all.

As for listening to what people in the field say I assume from your posts that you are listening only to what the republicans are reporting -- CHAOS, ABSOLUTE CHAOS. The election professionals and judges who were doing it say the process is much more orderly and far less controversial than the GOP spinmeisters are portraying it to be.

Face it - you are on the side that prefers turning a blind eye to the truth to merely looking at the best evidence that exists to make a human judgment (imagine that) on what, if anything, the ballots show. You might appreciate the immorality of that position if Bush were asking for these hand counts (like he did in New Mexico), rather than resisting them at all costs.
