Jesse Jackson is doing nothing different than what Rush Limbaugh and similar fanatical right-wingers do every day on radio and TV. And, yes, he was most serious today ... just as Rush Limbaugh is every day. I'm not sure many people on this board understand how vitriolic and hateful right-wing radio and cable TV has become. Similarly, I find it amusing that some people are so eager to jump on Jackson ... so eager to muzzle his message ... but yet say nothing about the right-wing hate mongers on radio and TV. Re my post of Jackson and DeLay. If the quotes are exactly the same, with the only exception being the line of attribution and substituting "Clinton" for "Bush," isn't it pretty obvious that what was posted was humorous parody? Am I supposed to say "the following is a joke" when I do such?! And for the record, I have yet to see SNL state: "The following skit about GWB and Gore is not true; it's comedy." Uh, KLP ... were you an accounting or engineering major in college?
