I have been completely consistent all year...I said the Nasdaq would trade down to 2500 this year. It did. I said csco was a better short then a long around $70. That I thought it would hit $45 this year. It was...it did. I have always maintained that there will be bounces along the way. But, these aren't long term buy opps..as some would like you to believe. If you look at the nasdaq 1 year chart you will see that the down trend is holding in a channel. The market could bounce to the 3500 and still be in the long term down channel. I would be surprised if it went that far but I am not going to rule it out by any means. I will trade accordingly. I did say that I think that csco could trade down to $35 this year and the Nasdaq to 2250 if things got real ugly. They haven't yet. I am maintaining my targets set in March of this year that the Nasdaq will hit 1500 next year and could go lower if real earnings continues suffer.

If you want to look at people that haven't been consistent, look no farther then the bulls of this thread with there targets on csco changing every quarter. $100, $90, $75, $60's now...They have been lowering their year end targets all year as the price of csco falls. All year the bulls have told me that the NASDAQ won't trade under 3000 this year. It did. As for the day to day week to week dips and pops. No one can call em. You would have to be a mind reader and a fortune teller. When will any given company warn? How much will any big cap tech use gains from investments to pad earnings the quarter? Will they take charges? What will the supreme court of Florida decide? The US Supreme court? The best one can do day to day week to week is try to play the short term trend while keeping in mind the long term trend. I think this market is starting to get toppy. I think that there are some juicy shorts waiting to be hit when this post election pop runs out of steam and everyone realizes that Santa Claus isn't coming to town and bringing a rally with him.

I have one question for you. Why are you so angry? Your attacking posts seem uncalled for to me.
