Yes, I have some of my own horror stories with Etrade, and I don't use them much any more. But I have found them useful for a few things, like short availability particularly on the momo pigs like HAND. I also use them for a few issues that DLJ does not let me put stop loss orders on. Also the Bridge platform is quite good for research, and very fast. Their executions on market orders suck big time, I never place market orders with them. For market orders I find that DLJ and Fidelity both do quite well. Regards, Fund
