It doesn't seem to work that way- which makes me think that maybe the thermostats are not accurate. I have gotten the downstairs to 69, which is bearable. I think I'm going to clean the oven which is one of those self-cleaning kinds that heats up to really high temperatures and does give off some warmth while it does so. Only then I have to clean out all the ashy stuff. I don't know why they call them self-cleaning.
