As I said there's reasons for the silence and the following lists some of them;
1. Everything in the universe has a cycle to it, including this thread. Right now the shorts are out in droves and IMO have control of it.
2. The Zitel deal is a bad one, period. I also understand it's typical of the kind of deal a company has to cut that's in Zitel's shape in order to raise capital. No argument and no need to debate it.
3. I've been posting since the middle of January. In that time I think it's all been said, all been argued, and the recent arguments seem to be a re-hash of what's been argued before.
4. There's some nasty people on here right now IMO. You've got some posts that reveal nothing other than the anger and hostility of the poster without making any point. The feeling on here right now seems more like a witch hunt, everyone is suspect.. Chiang is now a little old crochity man whose advanced years add suspect to his credentials which have been called everything short of a lie. Jim Brady is now "Diamond" Jim. Esping, Chait, Schick, Nevada, Emerald, CMSI(?), are all part of this conspiracy based on a non existent technology. I wish some of these people were on the Warren Commission.
5. Bottom line is what's the point. As I've said before the lines in the sand are drawn and nobody's changing their mind. If this were a battle there'd be nothing left to do but fight. IMO there's nothing left to do but wait. The screw ups, the delays, the questions of credibility the bad deals are all legitimate concerns and I admit they concern me as well. But this stock is a bet, a gamble and what gives it any kind of chance for me is the people that are at it's core and the people it's attracted.
You want to believe they're frauds, fine. But if they're not, if they actually deliver the product, if Kevin Schicks statement made months ago that "it's the best I've ever seen" and that "everyone will work for MatriDigm, relative to the technology" turn out to be true, then the bet will pay off . If that happens you may eventually see MD acquire Zitel if there's ultimately an IPO, or you may see Esping work out a deal with his old friend Gertsner(?), lots of possibilities. But this bet isn't about Zitel, Zitel is a non issue for me, it's about MatriDigm. The shorts totally disagree and that's their right, so what's the point of discussing it anymore because our support provokes the same responses.
Let's just wait and see what happens and the longs I'm in contact feel basically the same way. Let's see.
