Great job, Sir Apollo. Now I can begin the process of constructing the 2001 Gorilla and King Index. This year as last, I suggest we employ an approach to constructing the GKI that reflects the actual portfolios of respondents to your survey, and offer the following construction methodology for discussion:

1. Only consensus Gorillas and Kings will be included.
2. The market cap criterion of $10B will be retained. Those will smaller caps should be considered as candidates for the Watch & Wait Portfolio.
3. Only companies that are widely held (>10%) by the Gorilla Hunters will be considered for the GKI. Others will be eligible for the Watch & Wait Portfolio.
4. Each component will be equally weighted, based on a hypothetical purchase of $10,000. We will use the closing price on the last trading day of the year, 12/29/00, to determine our cost bases.

Btw, Stan, would you please expand the Most Widely Held list to include all stocks that are owned by 10% or more of the hunters?
