Yes, the libertarian wing of the Republican Party is alive & well, but you are right, one hears far more about the "religious right", the "moderate Republican", & the David Dukes(bigots) that most real Republicans would rather not even exist - but we all know about the liberal spin of the mass media. This media can speak lower of the Republicans if they show so few sides of this movement and only those parts most of "the middle" fail to agreed.

I've spoken with some that consider Rick Lazio part of the "Kumbaya wing", fwiw.
