Could you explain who, specifically, would be denied equal protection under the law if the undervotes are counted?

I voted on a punch card ballot. I don't remember whether I punched the holes all the way through as instructed. According to estimates on CNN, there were millions of undervotes across the country. Now, if my vote was not counted because I made an error in not following instructions to remove all chads, my vote did not count. So if you just count the undervotes in Florida, my vote and the other millions of voters who may have made the same mistake will not be counted in the same way they would be counted in Fla, just counting undervotes. That's not only diluting my vote, but it is excluding it and it is treating someone else in another state more favorably and differently from the way my vote or non vote was tallied. Cleary not fair and a violation of the US Const.
