JAWZ has lost its Corporate Accounting Manager:
CA-AB-Calgary-Manager, Corporate Accounting

Full-time position, reporting to the Corporate Controller. Responsible for managing all day to day aspects of the Corporate accounting function at JAWZ, including managing a staff of 4. Key responsibilities include creating and enforcing financial policies, leading the external audit process and provide management reporting and financial analysis. Challenges will be to implement an accounting system upgrade, improve existing accounting processes, coordinate external audits and reviews, and to lead a motivated team through a period of change.
The successful candidate will have a professional accounting designation (CA preferred), with an excellent understanding of Canadian and US GAAP. 5+ years of work experience in a similar accounting capacity is required, preferably with audit experience. Applicants must have proficient accounting and computer skills, process improvement orientated, be goal and results focused, be a self starter with initiative, and have the ability to take ownership of this key role.
