I am amazed at the effort women, in general, put into their appearance.
If you ever figure it out, let me know!
I'm with you. I have one pair of black shoes I wear to work every day, four pairs of Dockers type blue pants that I replace as they wear out, usually wear a blue oxford shirt with a sweater vest, and have a few ties and two jackets stowed in the office that I put on whenever I have to go to court.
My wife doesn't wear any makeup (except a touch of perfume)--no foundation, rouge, lipstick, eye stuff, etc.-- and she looks fine to me with her shoulder length hair that takes two minutes to do in the morning.
But then, living on an island in the Pacific Northwest who's going to care that much about how we look? One of the nice things about Washington is that, except for the invasion of Californicators, we tend to judge people for who they are not what they look like. |
