OK, Back ON Topic. What a shame! AMD finally gets its act together after all these years and the markets (semiconductor and stock) turn against them. I finally got suckered into this stock, was up large at one time, but now I am largely negative. I am considering selling out for tax loss purposes as I managed to sell some of my tech stocks at nice gains earlier this year. However, I am afraid I will miss a January effect after all the tax loss selling.

Is there any hope for this dog? In another year or so, I imagine that we will be into a new product cycle and AMD will need to repeat its Athlon success with a new chip. Is Athlon a one hit wonder?
