If people fail to vote their ballots, no one can do it for them.
What we have seen in Florida over the last month is not the failure to vote, but the failure of simple machines to recognize the vote. The stylus/punch mechanism is not intuitively self obvious and considerable variation is to be expected in the results. A machine which cannot recognize the variation has malfuntioned by design. This is well known by the manufactors and designers, it is well known by Bush and Baker, and it is well known by you.
It's a matter of choosing victory over principals. A short term goal.
