Big Valley completes Lloyd 2 drill program

A diamond drill program on the company's Lloyd 2 claim has been completed.
A total of 1,053 metres was drilled in four holes. All but the first hole
intersected rocks of the Polly Mountain intrusive stock under a cover of
volcanic rocks.
The intrusive rocks were strongly altered to sericite with only poor
crystal outlines remaining. Very fine grained pyrite was disseminated
throughout in particularly strongly altered areas. The pyrite concentration
reached an estimated 5 per cent to 10 per cent. A few specks of
chalcopyrite were noted with the pyrite.
This mineralization may represent a halo around copper porphyry
mineralization to the south and west. Geological information from this
drilling will greatly help in the interpretation of the mineralizing system
in the area.
The board of Big Valley has accepted the resignation of John Enns from the
board and managerial duties due to personal reasons. On behalf of the
board, staff and shareholders of Big Valley Resources would like to take
this opportunity to thank Mr. Enns for his endless hours of work and
determination with Big Valley. The company would also would like to
recognize Mr. Enns for his tireless negotiations, assisting Big Valley in
the capital financing. The company wishes him all the best in his
endeavors.
