Don't Write Off Intel

Intel's warning that fourth-quarter revenue would come up short sent the stock close to a 52-week low. While PC sales will slow in the long term, investors should put this in perspective. In terms of the number of PC units shipped worldwide, 2000 was a record year. In addition, enormous improvements in processing power are expected over the next decade, improvements that will benefit the PC and Intel.
