Gosh... I wonder what your Christmas cards would look like. Goya prints with verses written by inmates in the state hospital Or if you feel passive-aggressive, maybe cards that have that horrible confetti stuff inside that gets all over the carpet and then people have to vacuum. I am feeling very Christmasy at the moment. I RSVPd with regrets one of those neighborhood parties where you have to bring a gift. I never know what to bring. Usually I fret about it, and put off calling, then don't go and then feel really guilty because I never called. This year I MADE myself call. So I feel great- I did the right thing AND I don't have to go. THe Yuppie Cookie Exchange is next week, which I DO like becuase you get all those cookies. I need to start thinking about my recipe. And what to wear. It's very important that you wear something that comes from an expensive boutique but looks homemade. It's a femaleyuppie rule, I think. The best year was the year we had the Possum Xmas here at DAR, and I went to the party and some woman was talking about having a possum in her attic. It was fraught with deep meaning or something. I am feeling all nostalgic for Gaugs and LLR. They did such great things with possums.
