RightWorks and Manugistics Announce Strategic Alliance to Deliver eBusinessSolutions to Global 2000 Corporations

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. and ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- RightWorks Corporation, a partner company in the Internet Capital Group (Nasdaq: ICGE) network and a leading provider of second-generation (2G) eBusiness applications, and Manugistics Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MANU), a leading global provider of intelligent supply chain and eBusiness solutions for enterprises and marketplaces, today announced a strategic alliance to deliver comprehensive eBusiness solutions to Global 2000 corporations.

Together, RightWorks and Manugistics plan to offer Global 2000 corporations marketplace-to-marketplace connectivity; support for the entire purchasing lifecycle; supply chain integration that enables efficient participation in the global economy extending beyond their enterprises and traditional industry boundaries; and real-time decision making capabilities that empower network trading partners to make selective purchasing decisions that will fuel profitable growth.

Specifically, the RightWorks eBusiness Application Suite(TM), which supports the entire eProcurement lifecycle and powers many-to-many trading platforms, will be integrated with Manugistics ExchangeWORKS(TM), an exchange platform designed to enable many-to-many transactions for recurring trade. Additionally, the RightWorks eBusiness Application Suite will also be integrated with the core supply chain management and logistics applications in Manugistics NetWORKS(TM) supply chain and eBusiness product suite -- to provide a comprehensive solution for companies looking to transform into a second-generation eBusiness.

Manugistics will also resell the RightWorks eBusiness Application Suite to existing and prospective customers worldwide, and RightWorks can bring Manugistics' supply chain solutions to its Global 2000 customers. The two companies will also participate in joint sales and marketing activities.

The two companies feature Web-architected, open-standards based solutions which, when integrated, can allow companies to more quickly integrate their marketplaces with others, while providing the global interoperability, adaptability and scalability necessary for companies to succeed in the eBusiness network economy.
