But if the GOP message is the right one for America ... for all of America regardless of race, faith or ethnic origin ... as the GOP claims and most on this board believe, then why don't the Republicans make a stronger effort for the African-American and Hispanic vote?

Why don't we see people like Colin Powell or the GOP Hispanic congressman from Texas say: "No, Jesse Jackson doesn't speak for me"?

Jesse Jackson is doing his thing because he believes in his message. Where is the "other side of the story"?

By its silence, the GOP is, in fact, playing the race card in a very sly way.
