With the exception of a handful of states, those under/over/BS vote ballots would not have made a difference in the outcome of the state.

Even in OR, IA, NM, WI, and NH, the vote differential was nowhere near the % margin of FL...not even an order of magnitude within the FL margin.

Not that it matters now, but the counting that was stopped on Sat was not divining. Interviews with officials indicated it was going very smoothly and any conflicts were set aside for review by Judge Lewis.

What I learned is that in any election that is close, where your brother is Governor, and your campaign co-chairman is Secy. of State, the Golden Rule is "He who has the gold, rules."

You know, I love warm weather and the beach...but not enough to move back in time to the ante-bellum days. With all its faults, Maryland My Maryland is at least ready for the 21st Century.

You're right...we will continue to differ on this.
But thanks to FOIA, historians will write and right the final chapter of this saga... when all are counted numerous times according to various standards. One thing for sure, win or lose in those FOIA counts, it will be said that Bush was still afraid to count them when the count would have counted. You can count on that.
