Thank you for your Pollyanna vision of labor-management harmony. Truly, if we all worked together with a common vision, we could make this a better world. When the suits from corporate went after my pension plan in order to put a few million in pension overfunding in their hip pocket, that's when I wised up to the fact that we the workers are nothing more than a liability on the balance sheet. I believe in respect but I don't believe in trust. I believe in a 100-page contract that lays it all out in black and white. Our local "trusted" management to play fair several years ago, and the end result was that our retirees got "written out" of the contract insofar as their health insurance was concerned. 95% of this board doesn't have a clue as to what goes on in the way of Big Business dirty tricks. Not a clue.
