Elwood;

MC's credibility is shot in my books. And to think I bought more at 20/share. I have now lowered my exit price to break-even which is about 25. At 25 I'm out of here! MC can take his b.s. and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. He is either a bold-faced liar or inept! Same problem we had with Pfeiffer. No red flags, not seeing cut-backs in IT spending, no need to change guidance (in fact he said he would have if he needed to) - what a crock!
Incidentally, with an original Q4 sales target of around 12.25 billion and with 19% in consumer pc's, then consumer Q4 sales were expected to be 2.33 billion. Is this press release suggesting that cpq lost 1 billion of that 2.33 billion? If so, then that is a whopping 43% drop in consumer sales!!! That is a disaster!! The alternative is that some of the shortfall is due to non-consumer segments which flies in the face with MC's recent statements! This guy is a joke!!
