BTW, my mortgage payment on a one year old custom home on a 1/2 acre lot in Phoenix (pool, all the upgrades we could ask for) will cost me less than my rent in San Francisco. My last apartment in the city went to $3,300 to the new guys Thats over 3 times my mortgage and I don't live in a cheap area. (although compared to San Franciso area or Manhattan its cheap...) Tim
