re:
Princeton, New Jersey, Dec. 12 (Bloomberg Data) -- Applied Materials Inc. (AMAT US) was downgraded to ''market perform'' from ''buy'' by analyst Eric Ross at Thomas Weasel Partners.

Brian help me here: I also saw the $35 price target you site: 'Thomas Weasel Partners cut the equipment group today on CNBC. Specifically, they lowered their price target for AMAT from $65(I believe) to $35(no that is not a typo).'

How in the world can they keep at 'market perform' yet set a price target of 22% lower than it's current price.
Apparently this calls for a total market fall of about 22% to rate at 'market perform' ...

Getting whipsawed in my margin account is getting irksome. Perhaps a little political stability (tomorrow?) will set the year-end boost for window dressing into steady force.
