Only Nebraska can split electors and they haven't done it lately. (NH?) I don't like the idea of circumventing the voters as much as you do. That's what happening all around. This is not good. Regardless of who wins the state, I think it should be based on some vote count...machine, recount, hand recount, something. At this point I still hoping for a resolution where the electors are chosen by the "some" vote. OTOH, the Legislature had no chioice but to find some electors as an insurance policy. I hope they won't have to send them. What's your take on the USSC taking their time on the decision? Maybe they are devising a way to count? Flip a coin? Jim
