Champion Resources completes financing Champion Resources Inc CHL Shares issued 30,647,940 Dec 11 close $0.45 Tue 12 Dec 2000 News Release Mr. Richard Clark reports Champion Resources has completed the private placement of 2.4 million units at $0.52 per unit for gross proceeds of $1.248-million as announced on Aug. 30, 2000. Each unit comprises of one common share and one non-transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one additional common share of the company over a period of two years at a price of $0.60 the first year and $0.65 the second year. The gross proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes. The company has received regulatory acceptance of the private placement and the units have now been issued to the investors.
