Just so that we play a balance on emotions. On a pessimistic side following thing can happen to MSFT stock price. EPS grows say 2.6 times in the next 3 yrs. to 6.75 by June 2000. If Wall street gave only 30 PE, you are looking at 202. If Wall street gave 50 PE, you are looking at 337. What if EPS didn't grow that fast? For example Zacks expects MSFT will grow onyl 22% next 5 yrs. What if Justice Dept. does the same to MSFT that happened to IBM long time ago. etc.. What if world economy slows? These are all pessimistic views. But I admit, I am long on MSFT.
