Supreme Court Decision Tonight?

Interestingly, apparently 7 justices are still at the Supreme Court working. You will notice that Breyer and Souter have left for the evening. Breyer and Souter are pro-Gore. Their absence tonight is very telling. My conclusion is that Scalia, Rehnquist, Thomas, O'Connor & Kennedy are busy writing the majority opinion in favor of Bush. Ginsburg and Stevens are either busy writing dissents(they are the two most liberal) or have joined the majority (not very likely). Souter and Breyer have decided to throw in the towel and leave the dissent writing to Ginsburg and Stevens who are strongly pro-Gore. In any event, the absence of Breyer and Souter coupled with the absence of a lifting of the stay speaks volumes. In a nutshell Bush won.
