By a 7-2 margin the USSC agreed with the more reasonable opinions on the Intel thread that the divining of dimpled chads was bogus and a violation of the equal protection clause of the US Constitution. The only question remaining was how this could be anything but obvious to every reasonable person watching the travisty going on in Florida. The Democrats shot themselves in the head by supporting what was blatantly unconstitutional and the extension present gifted to them by the FSC turned out to be the final undoing by limiting the time available for the contest phase. Nothing could have been more obvious. EP
