Scalia was a swing-voter in a 5-4 decision. In a close contest his kids being employed by Bush's lawyers sure could make a difference. They're only human. And in the end humans and mostly partisan humans decided the election. But once it's over, who cares? It's for the history books. Just hope Bush doesn't mess up a nice economy. I expect his cabinet will look a lot like his father's. So in a sense we have re-elected his father. Strange deal. Strange election. And I blame Gore for not being a better candidate. Basically he blew it. But he had an enemy he didn't anticipate, Ralph Nader. Just 1% of the Nader vote in Florida would have given it to Gore. Amazing. May Nader twist in the wind. Though I do agree with some of the things he said. But forget politics, let's RALLY!!!
