Why the gloating? Bush will be president but he did not win.
The S. Court took their position on an issue that they had previously rejected......the timelessness of the election; the basis for which stems from the way elections were handled back in colonial times.......not a major issue today.

The Supreme CT. typically makes the hard calls, the messy ones that no one else has the balls to make....and just for that reason, the Court is venerated. Tonite, however, they took the easy way out. Some will say it was to keep the country from dividing further over this issue. Others will say it was to follow their own personal and ideological goals.

Either way, Bush did not win but he will be president.
