Regarding Intel's helplessness. True, macro events can have a major impact. But Intel CAN influence whether someone buys a PIV over a celeron, or PIII over an Atlon. Even in a mature market, effective education, advertising and marketing strategies can lead to market share gains. My 2 cents, Gary
