Let me remind you that Gore did not receive a majority (less than 51 percent) of the vote either. So any evidence that Bush receives less than the majority vote here used to support any argument you might have in support of Al Gore carries little, if any weight. The bottom line is that if Al Gore deserved to be president he would have carried his home state, and he would not have allowed Ralph Nader to undermine his Democratic base.
