Well, I for one am really impressed with how the USSC ended all of this. I think the path they took doesnt necessarily set a precedent for other elections or other states. In otherwards I dont think they made NEW law. Personally, I think its really clever, just hope that GORE doesnt try and find a loophole here. Its pretty clear EXACTLY what the USSC is saying in SO MANY WORDS. I expect a Concession speech today. Anyone remember HOW MANY times Gore said he would concede WHEN.... Well, this should be his LAST WHEN. However, I would not be surprised IN THE LEAST if he NEVER CONCEDES, we will then know this is MERELY TO TRY AND DELEGITAMIZE the Bush Presidency. If that happens I think we all ought to GO OUT OF OUR WAY to make Bush feel like the LEGITIMATE PRESIDENT. One way is go show up at the polls in 2002 and vote a straight Republican Ticket. Like they say at Nike, JUST DO IT. JDN
