re: The USSC has opened up a can of worms, which will haunt them forever. They have laid the ground work for any two bit judge in Florida to overturn the election results, based on the precedent they set tonight.

Since it's the US SC, any "two bit" judge in any state can screw around with election results. If the equal protection ruling is interpreted to be the law, a uniform national voting system is the only way to have a fair election. One more loss for states rights, which was supposed to be the legacy of Rehnquist and Scalia.
