ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2000--Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR - news) announced today that NXTV, Inc. has purchased four MediaHawk(TM) systems, specifically designed for the hospitality market, to provide interactive entertainment and Internet services. NXTV, Inc., a provider of next-generation digital broadband services to the hospitality and residential markets, is a Concurrent Value Added Reseller (VAR).

Using Concurrent's MediaHawk Video-On-Demand (VOD) System, NXTV will provide digital VOD movies with enhanced TV functionality such as pause, rewind, fast-forward, and bookmark features. The MediaHawk will also enable high-speed Internet TV and laptop access, video and data conferencing, video games, and specialized phone services, as delivered by NXTV's interactive television system over a hybrid fiber/VDSL network. The NXTV broadband delivery system is currently being installed at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel followed by the Hotel Bel-Air. Both award-winning properties are located in the Los Angeles area. Three additional West Coast properties are scheduled for full market roll-out during the first quarter of 2001.
