You are correct sir, SIAL's just auctioning their own stuff. So yes, I'd think they get the proceeds. It will be interesting to see how that goes, and to see if the expand the concept. I agree most scientists like new stuff, but a company can't just toss a spectrometer cuz the hot new hire doesn't like the old one. I'd think they'd give the lad or lass more vacation time instead.

Gotta start hunting in associations. Sometimes the industry associations have some market data that's tough for us individuals to develop. Hence my foray to the ASMS site (though I wasn't looking for market data on that visit). Any help appreciated.
