I have much respect for Rev. Jackson. At times perhaps he overstates his case, but he is working hard to make sure the Statue of Liberty is still meaningful to all citizens of this country, regardless of race, origin or economic status. And to answer your question, yes, if Keyes would reply to Rev. Jackson, such would be reported in the media ... at least in the newspapers.
