As the facts come to light in the months ahead

I voted for Gore and I don't think it will ever be possible to know the facts about this election.

As someone who has given many computer scored exams, I think that the idea that votes that were unreadable by machine cannot be accurately read is a misnomer that was propagated by the Republicans (as was the idea that the ballots "degraded" by handling over a month's time, which was RIDICULOUS). Much of the time, it is very easy to see what someone's intended answer was by eyeballing a scantron card that the computer couldn't read for some reason (smudge on the card, eraser mark, etc). While I know that this wasn't the case with ALL of the undervotes, I would bet that MANY could be discerned (and will be when they are examined by independent news organizations and others).
There is a reason that the Bush people fought so hard to have the ballots go uncounted.

Doubya won a tainted presidency. Let's hope that his handlers know what they're doing.
