Yesterday morning they were saying that Boies had already left town, taken a train to wherever he lives - New York somewhere, I think. Or Connecticut. At that point I was fairly certain he, at least, thought it was over.

He blundered by conceding that the standards for the recount varied from individual to individual. I don't know what else he could have said, because it's the truth, but I don't get paid the kind of bucks he gets paid.

They put him on instead of Tribe because Tribe had conceded that it was difficult to figure out on what basis the Florida Supreme Court ruled in the earlier opinion.
