he used deep-seated political connections to 'take' this election. His political connections delivered what the voters would not give him - an electoral victory. Remember, he spent about $200 million on a campaign and failed to win a popular vote. All of his millions and powerful political connections could not give him a win of the popular vote because he lost on the issues. Will be interesting to watch.
