I'm one of the minority -- maybe of two, Barbara Bush and myself -- which thinks GWB's intelligence is underrated. We'll see. He'll have to be masterly to pull off a bipartisan budget after this, and I'm not sure he's that good, but I'm sure he's smart enough to know that's the way to go if he can.
