TV is reporting that Gore is "dropping out" of the race and has ordered a stop to the recount of votes in Florida. Since this is a "drop out" and not a "concede" does that mean that all Electoral votes he has received now go to Bush?? I don't know the point of law on this one. Or does this mean that the electoral college on Dec. 18th still decides?? I guess I'm asking if the the 25 Florida electoral votes are still meaningful? JD
