Dell trust buys 6 million shares By Rex Nutting, CBS.MarketWatch.com Last Update: 12:42 PM ET Dec 13, 2000 WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- A trust for the children of Dell Computer Chairman Michael Dell has acquired more than 6 million shares of the company, according to a filing made with the Securities and Exchange Commission released late Tuesday. Dell said the children's trust converted options Dec. 8 on 3.2 million shares at a price of $16.672 each and on 2.88 million shares at $9.26. Shares of Round Rock, Texas-based Dell (DELL: news, msgs) were down 40 cents to trade at $21.32 in recent action. The shares are off about 64 percent from their 52-week high of $59.69. www2.marketwatch.com
