cyto looks very attractive at these prices...esp. with bio friendly bush as president...they specialize in prostate malignancies and this is the most common cancer in men...250000-300000 men will be diagnosed this yr...cyto looks good for several reasons:

1. they will start to sell brachyseed, their endeavor into the radioactive seed mkt...the number of brachytx cases will surpass radical prostatectomy for the first time next yr...with psa's being done more often, just like mamm's did for breats cancer, the number of cases diagnosed at ealrlier stages(ideal for brachytx), will cont. to go up...brachy seeds cost betw. 35-50 dollars per seed and with 50-100 seeds being needed for an average case, rev's should trend up here.

2. the more physicians understand the usefulness of prostascint scanning, it will be used more often...at a price of 2000-3000 per case, margins have to be high...also, alot of the cost of this scan related to the cost of the indium, which is tagged to the antibodies, and when cyto can control the indium themselves, the cost of the exam will come down but their margins should go up.

3. they are working on a bloodtest whcih measures psma...if this pans out , they could capture a very large % of the psa tests being ordered today, which is huge.

4. they are working on proteomic based therapies and this is the future imo.

5. they have very specific antibodies for prostate cancers...if they can tag a beta or alpha particle to them, it could treat micrometastatic disease for prostate cancers that have spread outside the gland itself.
